ProInspire envisions an equitable and just society: free of systemic oppression where all people thrive.

Their ultimate goal is for social sector leaders at all levels to have the competencies, confidence, and connections to accelerate equity.

Sherry has worked with our organization on multiple projects over the past two years. She does excellent work bringing a vision to life, working with various stakeholders towards a common goal, and managing details to ensure a great experience for everyone. I can trust her to lead an important project and provide the capacity we need in our organization.

ProInspire Summit

ProInspire wanted to celebrate their 10 year anniversary with a series of events that would embody their values, promote their future direction, and educate on their new brand.

I worked with the team of six over nine months to flesh out and drive the series of events, especially focusing on the anniversary celebration summit.

The main challenge for ProInspire was bandwidth, as this work sat on top of the existing program work for their small team. My roles were to help the team develop each of the events, keep them focused appropriately throughout the year and provide accountability to this work.

Over the year, the team held a bi-coastal day of service, two virtual webinars, multiple small-scale celebration events, and a final day-long unconference style summit and social event for 150+ guests.

The summit day was an opportunity for participants to gather with leaders at all levels across the social sector to share collective wisdom and experiences to envision the future of leadership, equity, and social impact work.

ProInspire Leadership Institute

The ProInspire Leadership Institute (PLI) is a 2-day workshop, for grantees of the Kresge Foundation for their grantees.

The primary challenge was that the team member who had previously managed this program was transitioning away from the organization. ProInspire needed support implementing the second iteration of the program, while stabilizing the program so it could easily be run again in the future.

I supported ProInspire by managing, coordinating, and stabilizing this modified iteration of the program. I also developed templates for handling materials, logistics, communications, and project management so future team members could easily implement this program.

The program successfully served 120+ participants in 5 locations around the United States, and is now expanding to public open enrollment in Washington, D.C.
